Yes, I'm still alive!!

U23 Time Trial podium - July 31st, 2009

My beloved readers, it has been FAR too long! Looking back at my last post, just after ripping it at the Nature Valley TT, SO many things have happened.

I've moved to Fort Collins, Colorado and am loving it (especially now that I can breathe out here!). I can't wait to go skiing/hiking/MTB'ing/off-roading once the season comes to a close!

I've done some races at the Tour of America's Dairyland, Superweek, the $25k Chicago Criterium, some local Colorado races, and most recently the Tour of Utah. It's been a whirlwind season, and unfortunately it is drawing to a close. Only four weeks remain, but there are some SERIOUS races left including the Univest Grand Prix in Pennsylvania (Sept. 11-13) and the Vegas Crit Worlds during Interbike on September 24th. Check out the first page of my resume below--it's making the rounds and I'm VERY excited for 2010.

Nick Frey Cycling Resume - page 1

Tour of the Battenkill - April 19th, 2009

I've had great success with Boo Bicycles!! James and I have worked tirelessly these past few months to perfect our frames, and I have been training on my personal Boo for almost a month . . . it is simply INCREDIBLE. A stiff, light bike that remains supple and smooth over chip-seal and mid-corner expansion cracks. It is everything we have hoped for: beautiful, unique, green, and stiff/light/supple to boot. The big launch of Boo Bicycles will be at Interbike in Vegas September 23-25. James and I will be displaying some beautiful models: a complete road and cross bike (both to be RACED at the Vegas cross and criterium) as well as a custom belt-driven fixie and a beautiful low-cost commuter with some handmade pannier bags.

Boo Bicycles will be at Booth 6180, please come by to experience the beauty of Boo!!

Yo Nick,

Good luck at interbike this weekend. I want to ask you about how exactly you source your bamboo. I know you are pretty busy now, so I'll send you an email later. And I bet that resume will get you where you want.

No, not retirement!!

Boo bamboo is strictus from Vietnam, where the bikes are built. If you want some, I could probably get it to you with our next frame shipment.
